Dear Recipient(s),
I am very thankful to Dakota Lions Sight & Health for the special care they took ensuring that my dear sweet Santa Baby's cornea tissue transplants went to two different individuals. Knowing that my dear husband, even though he is no longer with me, gave the unselfish gift of sight to two recipients, allowing you to see all the beauty of our world helps me face the day without him.
My sweetie enjoyed life to the fullest, whether in the kitchen cooking meals, baking, watching old western movies, tv sports or his special talent of cross-stitching.
A special time of year for him was Christmas, the joyous colors of the season, the bright lights but especially the "twinkle" in his eyes, as he witnessed the joy and happiness in the children eyes, from 1 to 91 as he enjoyed his role in the local community of playing Santa. The love and kindness for all God's children showed in the brightness and glow of his precious eyes.
My life is much brighter knowing his gift of sight was well received and is appreciated by you when you see a sunrise, a sunset, a rainbow, a loved one's smile or just the wonder of our world is all the thanks I need. Who knows maybe he still sees me thru you.
